Clinical Audiologist
Dr. Lisa Irby earned her Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Arizona in 1998. She later obtained her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2007.
Her career began in Lawton, Oklahoma where she provided audiological services for the state and county for children and young adults. She began working at our Edmond location, Fine Hearing Care in 2005 for two years, and then took over Hearing Solutions in 2007. She later purchased the Edmond practice in 2011 and will be at both clinics for years to come. She doesn’t see patients’ full time anymore, but you will likely see her in the clinic on a regular basis. Lisa specializes in Diagnostic Audiology for pediatrics and adults, as well as fitting hearing aids. She lives in Edmond with her husband, three children and five dogs.
Clinical Audiologist
Dr. Bobbi Armstrong joined the Hearing Solutions family in January 2024. She earned her doctorate of audiology degree in 2009 from the OU Health Science Center. She has a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology which is a certification awarded by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
Most of Dr. Armstrong’s audiology career has been working in an Ear, Nose and Throat clinic in Lawton. Her experiences include diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid fittings and dispensing. Her favorite part of audiology is fitting and programming hearing aids. Outside of audiology, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and four children in Newcastle. She spends a lot of time at her children’s sporting events as they are into football, wrestling, baseball and volleyball. Fun fact! Dr. Armstong worked for Hearing Solutions from 2009-2011.
Clinical Audiologist
Dr. Elizabeth Nabavi joined Hearing Solutions in January 2025, bringing over 20 years of clinical audiology experience. She earned her Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1999 and her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida in 2002.
Throughout her career, Dr. Nabavi has worked in a variety of clinical settings alongside ear, nose, and throat specialists, providing comprehensive, compassionate care to patients of all ages.
Family is at the heart of Elizabeth’s life. She’s close to her parents and brothers and especially enjoys time with them during the holidays, with Thanksgiving as her favorite. A proud wife and mother of four sons and a daughter, she and her husband enjoy traveling, playing tennis, and cheering on their children in high school and collegiate sports.
A lifelong University of Oklahoma football fan and season ticket holder for over 40 years, Elizabeth treasures attending games with her husband, brothers, and children. Outside of Audiology and football, she enjoys baking, having once owned a small bakery, and expresses her creativity through photography.
Audiology Assistant
Jennifer joined our team in December 2024, bringing 15 years of experience in healthcare administration, including 3 years in the hearing aid industry. With a deep passion for quality patient care, she is dedicated to ensuring every patient has a positive experience. Her commitment to helping others makes her a perfect fit for our practice.
Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys life on her hobby farm with her husband and spending quality time with their four adult children. She loves the lake life in the summer and enjoys the beauty of the outdoors through RZR riding with her family in the fall and spring, with Mulberry Mountain in Arkansas being a favorite destination. Jennifer also enjoys RV camping and exploring new places with her family. Hosting gatherings, especially during the holidays, brings her great joy. Her favorite holidays to host are the 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Billing Coordinator
Kate joined Hearing Solutions in 2022 with an extensive background in customer service. Kate is originally from Oklahoma City, but currently resides with her family in Mustang. She studied Medical Coding at OSU OKC.
Her passion is getting to know patients and helping them with anything from hearing aid checks to understanding their billing statements. She and her husband have two daughters and one granddaughter. Their granddaughter calls Kate and her husband, “Weetie” and “Brumpy”. Her hobbies for the past 7 years have been watching her youngest daughter play school and club volleyball. She will continue to root for her daughter as she plays volleyball for Oklahoma City University.
Business Director
Jill has been with Fine Hearing Care and Hearing Solutions since 2012 and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is primarily in our Edmond office, but you may see her time to time in our Yukon office as well.
She has a background in entertainment marketing. In her spare time, Jill loves to spend time with her 2 boys, attending basketball games and doing home renovation and DIY projects.
Audiology Assistant and Marketing Manager
Kris joined Fine Hearing Care in 2014 and quickly revealed her ability to navigate our patients’ administrative needs. She started as our Patient Care Coordinator in our Edmond location and has recently transitioned into Audiology Assistant as well as taking over our Marketing for both our Edmond and Yukon offices.
She has a background in social services and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Family Relations and Child Development from Oklahoma State University. In her spare time, Kris loves to spend time with her husband and 2 boys, as well as her Corgi and Morkie, scrapbooking and doing any crafting project you could dream of!
